End-User Licence Agreement
Last updated: 1 June 2026.
These are our licence terms. Nothing in this agreement removes or limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law that cannot be waived by contract — where a term here conflicts with such a law, that law applies and the rest of this agreement stays in force.
1. The licence
Speakers 2.0 ("the Software") is published by comix.studio, Partita IVA IT03396340733 ("we", "us"), as a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for your personal or commercial music-production use. One purchase covers computers you own or control.
2. What you may do
Install and use the Software on computers you own or control. Use it in commercial recordings, releases, and live performance with no additional fee or royalty.
Licence mechanics, in plain words: one licence key activates the Software on up to 3 machines at a time (you can deactivate a machine from inside the plugin to free a seat). Activation requires a brief internet connection; afterwards the Software renews its licence with a short background check every few days when a connection is available, and each successful check allows about three weeks of fully offline use. If it cannot reach the licensing server for that extended period, audio is paused until the next successful check. The free trial runs for 7 days from your first use of the plugin; when it ends, the Software goes silent — it never modifies or damages your projects — until a licence key unlocks it.
3. What you may not do
Resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the Software or your licence key; reverse-engineer, decompile, or repackage the Software except where, and to the extent, that restriction is prohibited by law.
4. Payment, VAT & refunds
Your purchase is made through our Merchant of Record, who is the seller of record, collects and remits applicable VAT, and appears on your statement. Their checkout terms and refund policy govern the sale. A free 7-day trial is available before purchase, so you can evaluate the full plugin first. Where your local law grants a statutory right — for example the right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU/EEA — that right applies in full, subject to the rules for digital content supplied immediately on download. 5. Updates
Free updates across the 2.x line are included. Major future versions may be offered as paid upgrades at a loyal-customer price.
6. Warranty & liability
The Software is provided "as is", and to the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
7. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Italy, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you enjoy in your country of residence. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
